Profit has been taken

 Update


The trade from yesterday went very well. Almost perfect. I was nerviiiouuuusss.

I was already in BTC and ETH longs on the small acc since a few days ago. When I saw the signal posted yesterday, I added to those longs. I believe they were around $500 each (because they were successful longs that I've taken profit multiple times on). And I had a goooood entry with good cushion, so I entered MORE, $500 more yesterday to both longs on the small acc.

Big acc I entered a fresh long on BTC. Shown in the lowest picture below. I have only taken 10% profit on this long because I believe the price will continue up. However we are at ReSiStaNcE, so I should follow my plan shown in the picture and take at least 50% profit on the trade, if not more.

But due to the weekly seems to want to close in green and continue up, I will keep holding this trade for more profit, swinging it for weeks perhaps.

  Do not guess when a range is formed. Trade on confirmed ranges only. Range is confirmed after > 75% retracement What is a confirmed range? One where the previous trend has already clearly ended. On trends you allow Leg 1 to happen and you only jump in to trade Leg 2 and/or Leg 3 Ranges are similar. You DON'T guess the range low or high, but rather wait for them to form with confirmation using a few techniques. > 75% retracement of last trend leg Why 75%? Because trends shouldn't pull back 75%.  A typical trend leg will pull back no further than the 61.8% level (a common fib level).  Since the market cannot trend and range at the same time or on the same timeframe, an invalid trend is likely to form a range.  So, once you see a 75% retracement, you can begin to form a range.
